O Audi TTS Coupe Memorial Edition se despede do Japão

A terceira geração do Audi TT está em turnê de despedida, com edições especiais para vários mercados ao redor do mundo para comemorar o tão esperado fim da produção. O mais recente é o TTS Coupe Memorial Edition, que será oferecido em um número limitado de 100 unidades para o mercado japonês, com detalhes em bronze do avesso e equipamentos generosos.

O especial japonês está disponível em três cores metálicas – Glacier White, Mythos Black e Chronos Gray. Há uma escolha de dois designs diferentes de rodas de liga leve de 20 polegadas com acabamento em bronze, assim como o decalque Audi Rings no perfil. A grade apresenta uma moldura preta fosca e inserções de alumínio exclusivas que combinam com o acabamento nas entradas do para-choque, nas soleiras laterais e no difusor.

No interior, encontramos detalhes em bronze e detalhes em antracite, juntamente com componentes adicionais revestidos em couro. Da mesma forma, os bancos esportivos são revestidos em couro Nappa, com costuras em bronze e debrum cinza. O equipamento padrão inclui um cockpit virtual, assentos aquecidos, vidros de privacidade, faróis LED de matriz, um sistema de áudio Bang & Olufsen de 12 alto-falantes e muitos ADAS.

Não há mudanças mecânicas em relação ao TTS Coupe padrão, com o motor turbo de 2,0 litros produzindo 316 hp (235 kW/320 PS) e 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) de torque. O powertrain é acoplado exclusivamente à transmissão automática S-Tronic de sete velocidades e tração integral Quattro. Finalmente, a suspensão Audi Magnetic Ride vem de fábrica, o que muda as características de condução dependendo das condições.

A Edição Especial TTS já está disponível para compra por 9.270.000 ienes (US$ 67.934) cada. A Audi Japan diz que o TTS Coupe Memorial Edition é o “primeiro modelo comemorativo”, o que pode indicar ofertas adicionais de produção limitada antes que o modelo final saia da fábrica. Outras edições especiais do carro esportivo incluem o TT Final Edition para o mercado do Reino Unido e o TT RS Heritage Edition para os EUA.

O Audi TT existe desde 1998, com todas as três gerações vendendo mais de 500.000 unidades em todo o mundo. Após 25 anos, a montadora decidiu descartar o TT, pelo menos em sua forma atual movida a ICE, e substituí-lo por uma oferta totalmente elétrica.

Likewise, the sports seats are upholstered in Nappa leather featuring matching bronze stitching and gray piping. Standard equipment includes the virtual cockpit, heated seats, privacy glass, matrix LED headlights, a 12-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system, and plenty of ADAS."

The special edition TTS is already available to purchase for a cool ¥9,270,000 ($67,934) each. Audi Japan says that the TTS Coupe Memorial Edition is “the first commemorative model” which could hint at additional limited production specials before the final model rolls off the factory. Other special versions of the sportscar include TT Final Edition for the UK market and the TT RS Heritage Edition for the US."
